Adigio Benítez
(Santiago de Cuba, 1924- 2013)

Outstanding Cuban painter, draftsman, graphic designer and educator. He was a founding professor of the National School of Plastic Arts and the Higher Institute of Art and honorary president of the International Association of Plastic Artists of Cuba. His works are in the Cuban Art Collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts and in private collections worldwide. His curriculum includes more than thirty personal exhibitions and more than one hundred national and international group exhibitions.
